Product Description
PLEASE NOTE: These jamb liners are obsolete. While we can still source them to repair your windows, they require an 8 to 10-week lead time with no exceptions.
These jamb liners fit Semco clad exterior compression-tilt double-hung windows only, manufactured from May 1984 to March 1996. (Please see the image above showing that you must compress the liners to tilt the sash in; there are no easy-tilt latches on this series). If your unit was manufactured between 1984 and 1988, these liners will work but must be field-notched at the bottom with snips or a utility knife to accommodate the step in the sill.
Jamb liners are sold in sets only and include one left and one right liner, which come complete with the block & tackle balances already installed. Sizes are determined by the visible glass width and height of the unit (always list the width first). Please note that while we can get replacement liners for this older Semco series, we cannot obtain replacement tilt pins or screws, so you will need to reuse your existing hardware. All sales are final—no returns.
