These replacement sash are for SEMCO (SIMULATED DIVIDED LIGHT ONLY) replacement casement sash (has grille bars adhered to inside and outside of glass). SDL Replacement sash fits Semco TDM surface mounted sash locks 1980 to 2005: AND Sequential sash locks 2005 to 2019:

  

   

Product Description

Semco closed its doors in December 2019. We offer a direct-fit replacement sash designed for Semco casement frames. While designed to fit existing Semco openings, please note that these are not an exact 1:1 match. Please review the CAD engineering drawing and illustrations above before placing your order.

What’s Included

• Complete Replacement Sash Assembly: Includes an aluminum-clad exterior, pine interior, glass, and top/side weatherstripping.

• Standard Sizing: Choose your standard size based on the sash dimensions shown in the diagram above.

• Glass Options: Select from three standard glass packages, with optional Tempered Safety Glass.

• Grilles-in-Glass (GBG): Optional internal grilles placed between the glass panes.

• Interior Finish Options: Choose between raw pine (for staining) or pre-primed pine (for painting).

• Factory Machining: Manufactured with Semco’s standard 4-sided interior machined rabbet—identical to the official replacement sash Semco produced prior to closing.

• Exterior Finish: Available in 8 standard clad colors. Custom color matching is available for an upcharge on orders of 20 or more sashes.

Note on Hardware: Hardware is not included. You must reuse and transfer your existing hardware to the new sash.

Important Ordering & Compatibility Information

• Made-to-Order / Non-Returnable: All sashes are custom-manufactured to your specifications and cannot be returned. Orders may only be changed or canceled within 24 hours of placement.

• Pricing & Shipping:

  • Base price is per sash.

  • Flat-rate crating, handling, and shipping: $165 per sash.

• Removable Wood Grilles: If your existing window has removable wood grilles, they will not fit this replacement sash. Replacement grilles are no longer available. (If you need Simulated Divided Lites with exterior/interior applied grilles, please contact us for custom options.)

• Clad Colors: We strongly recommend ordering a color sample card (SKU: Color Palette) prior to purchase to verify your finish match.

• Pre-Primed Interior Option: The factory pre-primes the interior face only. Side edges are unprimed due to final machining steps performed after priming.

• Wood Exterior vs. Aluminum Clad: Wood exterior and aluminum-clad exterior sashes are not interchangeable. You must select the exterior style that matches your existing windows. If you have a painted wood exterior, select "Wood Exterior Sash (No Cladding) - Must Be Painted."
