Trimming: Many gear extensions fit multiple applications. Your replacement may require minor job-site trimming on the extensions, which can easily be done with a standard hacksaw.

Yellow Zinc vs. Stainless Steel (Extension Compatibility)
You have the option above to purchase the gear with extensions or the gear alone.

Newer Stainless Steel Gear: If you currently have a silver-colored stainless steel gear, your existing extensions will work with this replacement gear.

Older Yellow Zinc Gear: If your existing gear has a goldish-colored "Yellow Zinc Dichromate" finish, you must purchase the new gear along with the matching extensions offered. (See the product images above to compare the color differences).
