Eagle Series Compatible Replacement Casement Sash
We offer a high-quality replacement sash designed specifically to fit into original Eagle casement frames. While these replacement sashes and Simulated Divided Lite (SDL) bars are highly compatible, please note they are not an exact aesthetic match to the original design.
Important: We strongly recommend reviewing all illustrations provided (showing the old next to the new replacement), studying the CAD drawings, and watching the installation video in our video section before purchasing.
Product Specifications & Features
- Premium Construction: Sashes come complete with your choice of a clear pine wood interior or a heavy .050 extruded aluminum clad exterior. They include glass and weatherstripping on the top and both sides.
- High-Performance Finish: Aluminum clad color options are painted to meet strict AAMA 2605 performance requirements.
- Advanced Drainage: Weatherstripping is installed on the head and two sides only. It has been intentionally removed from the bottom rail to allow any trapped moisture to weep properly.
- Interior Options: Choose between an interior face pre-primed for painting or raw pine for staining.
- Glass Options: Three standard glass options are available, with an additional option for tempered safety glass.
- Grille Upgrades: Grilles Between the Glass (GBG) And Simulated Divided Light (SDL) are also an option .
- Color Selection: We offer 13 standard clad colors. Custom colors are available for an upcharge on orders of 30 or more sash.

Important Aesthetic & Sizing Variations
Please review these details carefully, as these custom-built sashes are non-returnable:
- Cladding Profiles: Over the years, Eagle's exterior aluminum cladding widths have changed. Our replacement sashes feature a uniform 2-inch cladding width around the perimeter of the glass.
- Sightlines & Visible Glass: Sightlines will not be an exact match to your original windows. The new replacement sash features approximately .250" more visible glass.
- Grille & Bar Alignment: Because of the profile differences, horizontal grille bars (GBG or SDL) will not align perfectly with older, existing sashes.
- Mullion Recommendation: If your windows are mulled (joined) together in a tight combination unit, we strongly suggest replacing all sashes in that unit at the same time so the sightlines and grille bars match perfectly.
- Removable Grilles: Original wood removable grilles will not fit into the new replacement sash.
Sizing & Ordering Guide
When selecting your sash size above, the options display three measurements from left to right:
- Original Eagle Series Exterior "Call-Out" Size (For historical reference)
- Glass Size
- Exterior Sash Size (This is the most critical measurement for comparison)
Because the new sashes are manufactured using modern profiles, they may arrive with slightly different overall dimensions than your originals, but they are guaranteed to fit the same frame opening if ordered correctly.
- Custom Sizes: If you order a custom size, it will be manufactured precisely to the exterior sash dimensions you provide.
- Tolerances: All manufacturing dimension tolerances are +/- .125".
- Responsibility: The customer assumes full responsibility for verifying measurements before ordering.
Installation & Hardware Notes
- Hardware Not Included: Sashes do not include operators, locks, or hinges. You must measure, mark, and transfer your existing hardware to the new sash.
- Hinge Upgrade Recommended: We strongly suggest purchasing our new adjustable hinge and track kit for each sash. This makes final alignment and troubleshooting significantly easier during installation.
- Professional Installation: Precision is critical when locating and mounting hardware. If you are not an experienced DIYer, we highly recommend hiring a professional. Please review our installation video for a step-by-step overview.
