Original replacement sashes for the old Windsor Series compression tilt windows (units with compression-style balance systems, spring balances, and no easy-tilt latches) are no longer available.
As a premium alternative, we offer a White CPVC Sash Replacement Kit manufactured to fit directly into your existing Windsor frame. This kit utilizes your existing window frame in combination with snap-in jamb liners and energy-efficient top and bottom sashes that install entirely from the interior of the home. Within minutes, you can upgrade an old double-hung window into a smooth, modern, easy-tilt system.

Important Sizing & Ordering Notes
- Sash Dimension Variance: Because the new easy-tilt system operates differently than the old compression style, the new sashes will be slightly narrower than your original sashes.
- How to Measure: Measurements must be based on your existing visible glass width and height (always provide the width first).
- Cottage Style Windows: If your original top and bottom sashes do not have the same glass height, you must order the "Cottage Style" unit to accommodate the offset heights.
- No Returns: All kits are custom manufactured to your exact specifications. Orders are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.
Exterior Painting Guidelines
Sashes are supplied in white but can be painted on-site. Windsor recommends using paints with a Light Reflectance Value (LRV) rating of 56 or greater.
Important Note on Dark Colors: For darker paint colors with an LRV rating lower than 56, you must use a specialized paint product specifically developed for application on PVC and strictly follow the paint manufacturer’s recommendations.
